Property damage inspection
We go through the property in person and record what was actually damaged.
01 // Inspection
What an inspection covers
The roof, the interior and the outbuildings. Wind and water rarely stop at one room.
- Exterior — roof surface, flashing, gutters, siding and windows.
- Interior — ceilings, walls, floors, and anything that got wet.
- Outbuildings — garages, sheds and fencing on the property.
- Detail shots — close-ups that show the damage, not just the room.
Why it is done in person
An insurer answers what is put in front of it. What nobody recorded is not in front of it.
What happens after
The inspection feeds the file: photographs, measurements, then the written estimate.
From the file
The damage, as it was found
Photographs taken on inspections across Knox County and East Tennessee.
Photographs supplied by Holcomb Public Adjusting.
Looked at. Then written down.
An inspection ends in a documented file, never a verbal opinion.
